May 8, 2013 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • Page 19 The Mahwah Museum is offering an opportunity for two people to win two guitars autographed by Les Paul, the legendary guitarist and inventor. The winners will be named at 9:30 p.m. on June 8, at a gala celebration of what would have been Les Paul’s 98th birthday. The gala will be held at the Trustees Pavilion at Ramapo College, 505 Ramapo Valley Road in Mahwah. First prize is a white epiphone guitar, Les Paul Standard Royal, with a body autographed by Bucky Pizzarelli, Lou Pallo, and others. The pick guard was autographed by Les Paul circa 2007. Second prize is an epiphone mahogany guitar, Les Paul Studio, autographed by Lou Pallo, Peter Frampton, Al Les Paul guitar contest, gala dinner announced Caiola, and Pete Townshend. A Les Paul and Mary Ford 45 rpm record and Gibson ad autographed by Paul will be awarded to the third prize winner. Contest tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at the Mahwah Museum, 201 Franklin Turnpike, on Wednesdays and weekends from 1 to 5 p.m. Tickets are also available at Devon Fine Jewelry, 303 Franklin Avenue in Wyckoff and at Robbie’s Music, 280 Route 17 South in Mahwah. Tickets are available at the museum and the website. “Les Paul in Mahwah: A Tribute” will continue at the museum until June 30. This exhibit celebrates the life and genius of Paul who lived in Mahwah for over 50 years.
