He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a recipient of the Colonel Charles H. “Chick” Noble Award for distinguished service, loyalty, and dedication to the Sixteenth Armored Division Association. He was the owner operator of Harris Uniforms in Hackensack and a member of the Masons. He was a tenor in the choir at Saint Anthony’s Orthodox Church in Bergenfield. He is survived by his daughters Cathy Banu of Mahwah and Donna Carbah of San Antonio, Texas, eight grandchildren, and his siblings Mary Rozdilsky, Julia Mikulak, Olga Barna, and Vladimir Harris. Manning Jr. of Mahwah died March 5. He was 92. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a graduate Saint John’s University, and had a 41-year career with ITT. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and past president of the Friends of the Mahwah Library. He was a member of the Church of the Presentation Choir in Upper Saddle River. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (nee O’Reilly), his children Ray of Phoenix, Arizona, Paul of Slate Hill, New York, and Donna of Chester, New York, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Oksanna “Sandi” Nienstedt, nee Kondrat, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Mahwah, died March 2. She was 55. She was a parishioner of Saint Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock. She had been a veterinarian’s assistant with Glen Rock Animal Hospital for many years. She is survived by her husband Donald Nienstedt, her daughter Alyssa Nienstedt, her mother Anna Kondrat, her brother Michael Kondrat, sisters-in-law Ginny Kondrat and Elsie Glinka, and brother-in-law Roberta Trudell. Robert Frederick Otto of Ramsey died Feb. 28. He was 86. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He earned an associate degree in business from Rider College. He owned and operated Ramsey Home Products and Allendale Aluminum Products, before retiring at 79. He served as the president of the Allendale Rod & Gun Club, and was a member of the VFW Post 682 in Ramsey and the Tallman Bible Church. He served as Ramsey’s Republican County Committeeman. He is survived by his daughters Nancy Boffo, Cathy Siciliano, Ellen Otto-Gates, and Amy Starost, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and his brother John. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ramsey, the Ramapo Valley Chapter of Sweet Adelines, Inc., and the Ramsey Chapter of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her sons Barry Gretz of Sloatsburg, New York and Alan Gretz of San Diego, California, her step-daughter Jean Webber of Monroe, Virginia, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and her brother Ivan Tull of San Antonio, Texas.
