Don Bosco Prep will present Stephen Schwartz’s “Godspell” March 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24 at the school located at 492 North Franklin Turnpike in Ramsey. This 1971 Broadway production is a contemporary look at Jesus and his disciples according to the gospel of Matthew. Performed by students from Don Bosco Prep and girls from area private and public schools, the show will be a contemporary take on the original Broadway production. “It’s a perfectly appropriate show to be produced during the season of Lent,” said Lucille Conzo, the show’s producer, “and with the singing and dancing by the cast, the show will be lively and fun for everyone. Bring the family and sing along to hits like ‘Day by Day,’ ‘Bless the Lord,’ and ‘All for the Best.’” “Godspell” is directed by Jodi Capeless, with choreography by Kimberly Galberaith,
