The award, which she earned for her dramatic makeover of a family room in Mahwah, was presented at Decorating Den Interiors’ 44th annual conference in Memphis. “My clients wanted a comfortable, livable space to enjoy watching TV with their children as well as have a beautiful space for casual entertaining,” explained Keefe, owner of Decorating Den Interiors of Mahwah & Ramsey. The judges included journalists and editors from across the U.S. and Canada. Other independent design professionals and bloggers were also invited to cast their votes. Winners were selected based on design excellence, creative problem solving, and overall presentation. Keefe also was honored with the company’s Premier and Eagle awards for outstanding achievements in business. Keefe has an extensive library of before and after high resolution, digital photographs which she uses in workshops and seminar programs for organizations looking to add fun and informative events and content for their organizations. Decorating Den Interiors’ room makeovers have been featured in such publications as Good Housekeeping, Canadian House and Home, Better Homes and Gardens, Woman’s Day, House Beautiful, and House and Garden. In addition, the company has been featured in a variety of design segments on HGTV and The Discovery Channel.
