Her fiancé is the grandson of Susan Barber and the late Craig Barber, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dinkle. He graduated from The Gunnery High School, and from Saint Lawrence University with a BA in social science. He is a financial planner with Charter Oak Group in Stamford Connecticut. A September 2013 wedding is planned. Balkema, son of Gary and Donna Balkema of Mahwah. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Garden City High School, Harvard University, and San Diego State University, where she received an MBA in sports business management. She is employed by JP Morgan in New York City. Her fiancé is a graduate of Mahwah High School. He earned a degree in economics from Harvard University.
