Ramsey UNICO recently hosted its Charity di Vino fundraiser and shared over $22,000 in proceeds from that event with various local charitable causes. Checks were distributed to Hearts & Crafts Counseling, which offers grief counseling to children and adults coping with the loss of a loved one; Meaningful Movements, which offers developmental, dance and, exercise classes for children and adults who are differently-abled; Meals on Wheels, which provides meals to homebound people in northern Bergen County; and Center for Food Action, which provides emergency food packages, rental, and utility assistance, counseling, advocacy, and other essential services to those in need living in northern New Jersey. Some of the proceeds also went to a local family in need. To learn more about the Greater Ramsey UNICO Chapter, visit www.grunico.org.
