John Christian “Jack” Alberts of Ramsey died Dec. 27. He was 96. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He graduated from Demarest High School and earned an engineering degree from Duke University. Early in his career he was employed with Arma Corp. After World War II, he co-founded Medcraft Electronic Corp., and later formed his own medical equipment company. He continued to work until age 79. He had been a Little League coach. He is survived by his children John Christian “Chris” Alberts III of Ramsey, Suellen Shea of Vista, California, Patricia Langa of Denton, Texas, Virginia Nowell of Sparta, eight grandchildren, and nine great-granddaughters. He was predeceased by his wife Ellen (nee Brennan). Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Christina V. Del Giglio, nee Kotos, of Mahwah died Jan. 10. Frank Sessa of Mahwah, formerly of Washington Township and Little Egg Harbor, died Jan. 1. He was in his 92nd year. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He worked as a textile colorist dyer for over 30 years in New York City. He is survived by his children Mary Ann McCabe and Frank Sessa, two grandchildren, and his siblings Millie, Rose, Marie, and Mickey. He was predeceased by his wife Sarra, and his brother Jimmy. She is survived by her children Greg Lomuti, Michael Lomuti, Matthew Lomuti, Donald Steinbrenner, Dorothy Stella, and Gwen Dambra, 20 grandchildren, and her brothers Father Donald Doherty, George Doherty, Bernard Doherty, and Martin Doherty. He graduated from Hawthorne High School, Rutgers University, and attended Stevens Institute of Technology. His career was in electrical sales. He began at General Electric, where he became the New York sales manager. He was the national sales manager for Circle F Electric, which became Osram Sylvania, where he served as the national sales manager of wiring devices. He then began his own company Town and Country Lighting. He was a member of the Hardware Boosters Club, the Saddle River Valley Club, and the Saddle River Garden Club. He is survived by his wife Linda (Rea) Vernooy of Saddle River, his daughters Barbara Walter, and Susan Gorgorian, his stepdaughter Christine Cantilli, and six grandchildren. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Anna H. Voss of Allendale, formerly of Ridgewood, died Dec. 5. She was 94. She was a 1936 graduate of Synder High School in Jersey City, and served with the Navy WAVES from 1944 to 1946. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glen Rock. She is survived by her children Carol and Robert Voss, two grandchildren, and her sister Bernice Dougherty of Saint Paul, Minnesota. She was predeceased by her husband John.
