Page 8 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • February 13, 2013 Ramsey Composer Tom Kendzia will conduct a three day Lenten Mission at Saint Paul’s R.C. Church in Ramsey. The spiritual and enlightening evenings will be held on Feb. 17, 18, and 19 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the church located at 200 Wyckoff Avenue. Kendzia is known throughout the world as a composer, recording artist, performer, author, and teacher. His compo- Renowned composer to conduct Lenten Mission sitions include “The Eyes and Hands of Christ,” “Endless Is Your Love,” “Now Is the Time,” “Out of Darkness,” and “Lead Us to the Water.” His latest release is called “Like a River.” His music is published by OCP, with over 25 recordings of original music for worship and prayer. He has been a liturgy and music consultant for many of the major U.S. catechetical publishers, including Harcourt, Our Sunday Visitor, Twenty-Third Publications, and is currently a consultant for RCL-Benziger. Scout Sunday Scout Sunday was recently observed at the First Presbyterian Church’s 10 a.m. worship service. Scouts participated in the reading of the scriptures and acted as ushers during the service. Following the worship service, the Scouts served refreshments in Fellowship Hall. The group also conducted its annual ‘Souper Bowl’ event by collecting cans of soup and money for the Center for Food Action in Mahwah.
