This 7 p.m. program will be held at the Wyckoff YMCA’s Lake House at 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff. Boucher, founder of Powerhouse Christian Church in Wyckoff and Touch the World Ministries in Allendale, has extensive knowledge about helping teens progress “from apathy to energy.” In addition to his leadership at Powerhouse Christian Church, Boucher has seen thousands of teens and adults come through various programs of Touch the World, which includes Solid Foundation Skate Park in Midland Park, GUTS (Growing Up to Serve) mission trips, Outreach FX (a sound and video company), and The Barn, a regional ministry in Pennsylvania. A significant part of his work has been in family ministry, and he works to nurture spiritual transformation in young people and to equip parents for proactive parenting. Boucher has coached junior football, baseball, and softball in Wyckoff for over 20 years and is police chaplain for the Wyckoff Police Benevolent Association. There is no charge for this event. Ridgewood hosts Spring Craft & Art Street Fair The Ridgewood Spring Craft and Art Street Fair will return to East Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood on Sunday, May 5, from noon to 5 p.m. The fair will feature over 140 exhibitors from five states with an array of handmade crafts, art, and photography. The event will be held rain or shine. Joining the fair will be many area residents. Painter Michele Crawford of Glen Rock will have a booth of her original work. Participating Ridgewood residents will include photographer Rich Haig, quilt maker Carolyn Ironside, gourmet pet treat purveyor Vickey Fallon, and hula hoop aficionado Jennifer Laurita. Wyckoff resident Peter Dabal will show hand-dyed silk apparel, and Laure Hill of Midland Park will have a booth of tutus and girls’ hair accessories. Andy and Maureen Coyle of Haledon will display inlaid wood cutting boards, turned wood pens, and handmade soaps. Amber Hirschberg will present home décor and Fran Lauretta will show her floral designs. Both women are from Hawthorne. There will be a large children’s area with pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables, games, face painting, delicious festival foods, and music. Prostate support group to meet LifeLines, a supportive, informative resource for prostate cancer patients and their partners in northern Bergen County, will meet Tuesday, April 23 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Church of the Presentation, 271 West Saddle River Road in Upper Saddle River. The group was formed by prostate cancer patients to share information and experience about available treatment and service resources. Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month. Fyke announces events Photographer Kevin Watson will present a program on the snowy landscapes of northern Japan to the membership of the Fyke Nature Association on April 26. The group will meet at 8 p.m. in the Allendale Municipal Building, 500 West Crescent Avenue in Allendale. Watson’s program will include photos of Steller’s sea-eagles, Japanese cranes, and snow monkeys (Japanese macaques). On Sunday, April 28, the association will host a Warbler Walk at the Celery Farm Natural Area in Allendale. Rob Fanning and Lisa Ann Malandrino will lead this first walk of the season. The group will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the end of Green Way. Birders of all levels are welcome. Register The 2013 Ramapo High School Varsity Cheerleaders recently won first place and were named overall champions in their division at the Contest of Champions National Competition, which was held in March. The event was held at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. West Bergen presents The Parent Forum The Asperger’s Services Department at West Bergen Mental Healthcare will present a series of monthly workshops for parents of children and adults on the spectrum. The support group will explore the challenges of parenting individuals with Asperger’s and related disorders, and will allow participants to share and process their own experiences within their families. The co-facilitators are West Bergen professionals. The fee is $20 for one or both parents per session. Parents are encouraged to attend sessions together. Participation is limited, and pre-registration is required for each session. The schedule includes: May 6, “Expectations;” June 3, “Disclosure in the Family and Beyond;” July 15, “Siblings;” Sept. 9, “What’s Next? Cadillac show announced On Sunday, April 28, the Cadillac Club of North Jersey will present its “Spring Fling All Cadillac Show” at the Stateline Lookout on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Alpine. Approximately 50 Cadillacs from at least six decades are expected to be on display. Cadillacs from 1903 to 2013 are welcome. Cars 1998 and newer may participate as “display only.” Cars more than 15 years old will be judged via “Peoples’ Choice” balloting by owners and spectators. Registration is free for all Cadillacs and LaSalles 1941 and older. Spectator admission is free. One of the many Cadillacs on display will be “Big Red,” a 1968 DeVille convertible that was driven 7,292 miles coast-to-coast and back, including all 2,448 miles of Historic Route 66.
