The Ramsey Chamber of Commerce held its last meeting at Hearts & Crafts Grief Counseling in Ramsey. The Chamber’s next meetings will be May 13 and June 4. The May 13 meeting will be held at Wayne Tile, 50 Spring Street in Ramsey. Those who attend are invited to bring a nonmember. This Meet & Greet Cocktail Party will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. The June 4 meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at Sublime Salon and Spa, 171 Lake Street in Ramsey.
Chamber members gather
Ann Marie Agnello will discuss “Key Points of the IEP Process and Strategies for Parents” on Monday, April 22. Agnello’s appearance was arranged by the support group for Ramsey and Saddle River parents of children with special needs. The program will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 55 Wyckoff Avenue in Ramsey. Agnello, a child advocate at Advocacy for Complaint Education, LLC, holds a B.A. in psychology from Douglass College. She received a fellowship to the Develop-

mental Psychology Doctoral Program at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. She obtained years of advocacy training through various sources, such as Parent Information Center and SPAN, and legal workshops. Since 1997, she has been a full-time advocate involved with the various aspects of the IEP process and 504 Plans. She also represents parents in mediation and resolution sessions.
