Ho-Ho-Kus Community remembers those lost on 9/11
The community paused last week to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist
attacks that claimed the lives of two Ho-Ho-Kus residents: Neil Shastri and Richard ‘Woody’
Woodwell. Public officials, citizens, and clergy members gathered for the ceremony, which
is held on the front lawn of borough hall, located at 333 Warren Avenue, Ho-Ho-Kus. Clergy
members in attendance included Father Martin Rooney of Saint Gabriel’s Church in Saddle
River, Father Esteban Granyak of Saint Luke’s R.C. Church in Ho-Ho-Kus, and Reverend Rich-
ard Bierwas of the Ho-Ho-Kus Community Church. Right: Reverend Bierwas (left) speaks. At
