Scouts hold Newspaper Drive
On Sept. 21, Waldwick Boy Scouts will
collect newspapers to be recycled. Residents
are reminded to bundle papers in stacks no
more than eight inches high and leave the
bundles at the curb the night before the col-
lection. Any papers put at the curb after 8
a.m. on Saturday may be missed.
Lions host Annual Golf
Outing, seeks sponsors
The Waldwick Lions Club will host
its Annual Golf Outing on Sept. 16 at the
Bowling Green Golf Club in Oak Ridge.
The cost is $140 and includes a breakfast
buffet, barbecue, beverages, prizes, gifts,
and 18 holes of golf.

of Siena College with a master’s degree
from Rutgers University. He teaches both
American History and world history at
