Volunteers sought
The volunteer nursing home outreach program, Grow-

home residents.
Many nursing home residents have no one to visit them.
Similar to a Big Brother/Big Sister philosophy, GRAMM
builds individual relationships through activities such as
sharing stories, playing games, reading, watching sports/
television, sitting outside, writing letters, or just offering
companionship. GRAMM is seeking volunteers who can visit one hour a
week for eight weeks. The program is held at the Allendale
AP exams, and offers study guides for literature, Bible,
poetry, Shakespeare, mythology, best-sellers, Dr. Seuss,
pre-algebra, algebra, algebra II, geometry, biology, U.S.
history flashcards, DMV, and careers. Students may take
full-length practice exams, and review the results with in-
depth answer explanations. For more information, contact
Samantha McCoy at (201) 327-4338 or mccoy@bccls.org.
