able at the Ho-Ho-Kus Train Station on First Street. “Get out, stroll the streets, and take advantage of all the Ho-Ho-Kus businesses have to offer,” Ho-Ho-Kus Chamber of Commerce President Steve Sager said, inviting local residents to participate. Ticket holders will enjoy a progressive sampling of signature dishes from Ho-HoKus’ popular eating establishments, and wine tastings. In addition, several businesses will be open late so people can stop in and get reacquainted. Some of those businesses may offer food, beverages, samples, specials, and other treats. Following last year’s successful event, Sager said four additional businesses will be staying open late and one additional business will be hosting a tasting. Sager added one caveat: Don’t wait to buy tickets. The Chamber sold all 250 tickets for last year’s event. This year, 300 tickets will be sold, but Sager reported that as of last week sales were already brisk. Tickets are $20 per person and $35 per couple. Tickets for the Ho-Ho-Kus Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Ho-Ho-Kus’ are on sale now at the following locations: Haviland Photography, 22 Sheridan Avenue;
OBH Car Wash, 208 East Franklin Turnpike; Ho-Ho-Kus Flowers & Gifts, 9 Sheridan Avenue; Plasker Family Chiropractic, 25 Sheridan Avenue, and the Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, 1 East Franklin Turnpike. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the borough’s volunteer organizations, the Chamber-sponsored scholarship, and the borough’s holiday decorations. At press time, participating “tasting locations” included: Café Amici, Carlo Russo’s Wine & Spirit World, The Ho-Ho-Kus Inn & Tavern, Janice a Bistro, Kevin’s Thyme, JT’s Wine & Spirits, St. Eve’s, Tasti D-Lite, and Sicilian Sun. Water will be offered at Abbott & Caserta Real Estate, Ho-Ho-Kus Dental, Minuteman Press, Plasker Family Chiropractic, and American Eagle MMA & Kettlebells. Be sure to stop by Haviland Photography, Marron & Gildea Realtors, Eric Alt Salon, Little Nikki’s, and Trudie’s Treasures. Please note that the list of participants is subject to change. More businesses were still signing on at press time.
