Amy Baskin, an English teacher at Waldwick High School for the past 16 years, was promoted last week to become the K-12 Supervisor of Language Arts, World Languages and District Testing Programs. A committee composed of teachers, a supervisor and administrators recommended her selection. Handy Scouts!
Cub Scouts from Mahwah Pack 197 recently took a field trip to Waldwick Auto to complete their handyman requirements. The boys toured the garage, which is located on East Prospect Street in Waldwick, and got a few hands-on lessons. The cubs are pictured above and at left (with Chuck Wanamaker Jr).
