Waldwick 5K Run (continued from page 4) Therapists are trained in various modalities of massage, including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, sports, prenatal, geriatric, cranial sacral and reflexology. “The runners and walkers truly enjoy being stretched out before they hit the pavement. Afterwards, there’s nothing better than a wonderful mini massage to round out the experience,” said Chamber President Christine Figliuolo. “The Waldwick 5K is a ‘heart-healthy’ event, so partnering with a business that represents health and wellness just makes sense,” she added. New Balance North Jersey and PSEG have also returned as Platinum sponsors. Seven new sponsors have signed up this year: Equinox Fitness Clubs, Minuteman Press Ho-HoKus, Moms in Motion, Waldwick Boosters Club, Allendale/Waldwick PBA, and Viridian and Sandra Shahinian. Walgreens will be donating water, bananas, oranges and energy bars as well as sending support volunteers to the event. All sponsors are currently posted on the WaldwickChamber.com website and will also be added to posters announcing the run.
