Lighting the way
Ho-Ho-Kus Senior Girl Scouts Sofia Wyman, Emma McKee, and Ciara Culleton (not pictured) presented Wanda Cuebas, Oasis donation coordinator, with a handmade light box. The light box was inspired by Louis C. Tiffany’s stained glass artwork, and was presented as a gift to Oasis to celebrate the Clothing and Halloween Costume Drive the senior Girl Scouts completed in the fall. The drive was a huge success, with numerous trips to Oasis with the minivan filled to the brim with donations. The great success of the drive was due to the wonderful and generous support from fellow Ho-Ho-Kus Girl Scout Troops and local families. Donations directly benefited Oasis families.
