Page 12 THE VILLADOM TIMES III • July 24, 2013 Ho-Ho-Kus Nine Troop 178 Girl Scouts earn Bronze Award Nine fourth grade girls from Ho-Ho-Kus Girl Scout Troop 178 recently earned their Bronze Award by complet- ing a makeover of the Ho-Ho-Kus Public School’s teach- ers’ lounge. The community service project was funded by fundraisers, including the sale of cookies, baked goods, and teacher appreciation wristbands. The Scouts were aided in the project with donations of paint from Waldwick Paint and Wallpaper Co. and expertise and labor from Jerry Koenig of Paint Troopers and Koenig Contracting. The girls painted, cleaned, furnished, and stocked the room with new leather chairs, a rug, tables, window treat- ments, a TV, a new coffee maker and coffee, and a good supply of Girl Scout Cookies.
