Kurschner of Camden, South Carolina, Peggy Horney of Ridgewood, and Jeffrey G. of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband Hans G. Kurschner. Ada Marie Murray, nee Mudd, of Wyckoff, formerly of New Rochelle, New York, died Jan. 10. She was 66. She was a self-employed interior decorator for many years. She is survived by her husband Richard W. Murray, her children Christine Little of Warwick, New York, Richard of Berkeley, California, Michael of Milford, Pennsylvania, and John of Williston, Vermont, and five grandchildren. He was 68. He was a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where he earned his D.D.S. degree. He was a periodontist in Englewood, and served as the former Frances Henry president of the New Jersey Dental Association. He is survived by his sons Andrew D. Schwartz and Steven A. Faith Margaret Touw, formerly of Ridgewood, died Jan. 3. She was 81. She had worked as a Realtor for Weichert for many years. He was a life-long member of the Hemlock Farms Fire Department. He was known for his involvement in law enforcement, especially in Internet crime and security, and for his advocacy against cyber bullying. He gave talks on these subjects to schools and organizations. Recently, he worked at Kroll CyberSecurity, and for the Montville School District. He was a substitute teacher in the Allendale School District, where he was known as “Mr. Bill.” He was a member of the New Jersey Blue Knights Motorcycle Club. Eugene W. Tuite of Glen Rock and Cooperstown, New York, died Jan. 7. He was 72. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He was president of Stuart Life & Pension Associates in Glen Rock. He was a member of the Estate Planners Association, the Activities Club in Glen Rock, and the Blair Alumni Association. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife Katherine (nee Barron) Tuite, his children Maura T. Tuite of Ridgewood, Peggy A. Kurschner Margaret L. Robert Allen Vernooy of Saddle River died Jan. 2. He was 82. He graduated from Hawthorne High School, Rutgers University, and attended Stevens Institute of Technology. His career was in electrical sales. He began at General Electric, where he became the New York sales manager. He was the national sales manager for Circle F Electric, which became Osram Sylvania, where he served as the national sales manager of wiring devices. He then began his own company Town and Country Lighting. He was a member of the Hardware Boosters Club, the Saddle River Valley Club, and the Saddle River Garden Club. He is survived by his wife Linda (Rea) Vernooy of Saddle River, his daughters Barbara Walter, and Susan Gorgorian, his stepdaughter Christine Cantilli, and six grandchildren. She was a 1936 graduate of Synder High School in Jersey City, and served with the Navy WAVES from 1944 to 1946. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glen Rock. She is survived by her children Carol and Robert Voss, two grandchildren, and her sister Bernice Dougherty of Saint Paul, Minnesota. She was predeceased by her husband John. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Yunker (nee Van Boerum) of Wyckoff, his step-children Joanne Van Buiten of Hawthorne and Richard Vermaas of Florida, seven grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
