The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Northern Highlands Regional High School. She graduated magna cum laude from Rowan University in 2010 with bachelor’s degrees in elementary education, and writing arts and communication. She received a master’s degree from Montclair State University in reading, and is a certified reading specialist. She is currently employed as a kindergarten teacher in Mountain Lakes. Her fiancé graduated from Sayreville High School in 2005. He served as a master at arms in the United States Navy, and will graduate this year from Kean University with a degree in psychology. He is currently pursuing a career in law enforcement. A Dec. 7, 2013 wedding is planned. Robert and Doris Tracy of Midland Park have announced the engagement of their daughter, Vanessa, to Vincent Cornacchia, son of Grace Cornacchia of Fairview and Vincent Cornacchia of Paramus. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Midland Park High School. She received her bachelor’s degree in English education from The College of New Jersey, and a master’s degree in writing from William Paterson University. She is employed as an English teacher at Ridgewood High School. Her fiancé is a graduate of Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and information systems from Fairfield University and an MBA with concentrations in finance and information systems from Fordham University. He is employed as a director at Express Scripts in Franklin Lakes. The couple resides in Little Falls. A July 2013 wedding is planned. David and Eleanor Zuidema of Midland Park celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Dec. 28, 2012 with their children and grandchildren. The celebratory dinner was held at The Abbey in Ramsey. The Zuidemas were married by Dr. Tibbetts at the Riverside Church in New York City. Zuidemas celebrate 60th Katherine Trum engaged Mr. and Mrs. Denis Trum of Ramsey have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Trum, to Samuel Eliot Barber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Barber of Watertown, Connecticut. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mary Ramsdell and the late Arthur Ramsdell, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trum. She is a graduate of Ramsey High School, and received a BS in communicative disorders from the University of Rhode Island. She is a sales and marketing director for Kilian Perfumes in New York. Her fiancé is the grandson of Susan Barber and the late Craig Barber, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dinkle. He graduated from The Gunnery High School, and from Saint Lawrence University with a BA in social science. He is a financial planner with Charter Oak Group in Stamford Connecticut. A September 2013 wedding is planned.
