This program was part of the club’s ongoing Distinguished Speakers Series. Lorenti discussed copyright theft. Mem- bers were shown samples of genuine and counterfeit DVD packages that appeared almost iden- tical. Only an expert could tell the difference. These counterfeit DVDs come from overseas and usually sell in stores or on the street for a fraction of the cost of the genuine items.
