She is survived by her children Patrick Mulry, Stephen Mulry, and Raymond Mulry, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her sister Mary O’Connor. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Anthony Mulry, her son Thomas Anthony “Little Tommy” Mulry, and her brothers John, Lawrence, and Arthur O’Hagan. She graduated from Ramsey High School, and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta at Iowa State University. Later she taught home economics and English. She received a master’s in social work from Fordham University and was a social worker in the Bogota schools for 10 years. She was a member of the League of Women Voters and the College Club of Ridgewood. She is survived by her children Raun of New York City, Dan of Glen Rock, Terri of Stamford, Connecticut, and Amy of Long Beach Island, and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Raun. He was born in Jersey City and attended Saint Aloysius Academy, Our Lady of Victories Grammar School, and Saint Peter’s Prep. He received BA and MA degrees from Boston College and Union Theological Seminary. He began his professional career as a member of the Jesuit order. He taught for several years at Xavier High School in New York City. After leaving the Jesuits, he became a hospital administrator at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, and at Memorial Sloane-Kettering in New York City. He received a Ph.D. from New York University in education. Later he received his JD degree from Fordham University. Initially an associate with Dennis J. Cummins Jr., Esq. in Fair Lawn, he went to New York as an associate at Belair, Kline & Evans, then at Quirk & Bakalor, P.C. Finally, he established the law firm of Sarno & De Felice in New York City and Sarno Law Firm in Ridgewood. He volunteered as a moot court judge at Yale College for the last four years. He was the author of eight books, among which was “Prayers for Modern, Urban, Uptight Man,” and was a writing consultant for the television program “Mod Squad.” In progress is an adult adaptation of an original “EPPILAW Taxonomy Learning to Think and Write,” designed in assisting the learning process of the English language. Eleanor Ten Kate, nee Van Hook, of Wyckoff, formerly of Midland Park, died March 9. She was 94. She was a member of the Unity Christian Reformed Church in Prospect Park. She is survived by her children Nelva Martin, Joyce Priestner, and Bernard Haven, and her step-daughters Doris Zeeuw and Elaine Dansen. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John Haven, and her second husband James Ten Kate. Obituaries Mary Ann Burlington, nee Evans, of Glen Rock and Spring Lake, died March 9. She graduated from Park Ridge High School and majored in journalism at Pace University in New York City. She volunteered for over 40 years at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, where in later years she worked in the emergency room. She was a swim teacher for children with disabilities at the YMCA, and was a Girl Scout leader. She volunteered at the Valley Health Clinic in Glen Rock, and was a member of the Deanery at Saint Catharine’s Church in Glen Rock. She was a member of the Ridgewood Country Club and Belmar Fishing Club. She is survived by her daughters Patricia B. Madden of Mahwah, Mary Lee Clancy of Spring Lake Heights, Sheila B. Finnerty of Vienna, Virginia, and Maureen B. Caffrey of Glen Rock, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William E. Arrangements were made by Browning Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Raymond Moraski of Mahwah, formerly of Ridgewood, died March 12. He was 88. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He received an undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University and a graduate degree in biology from Fordham University in 1953. He was a research scientist and toxicologist for 35 years at American CyanamidLederle Laboratories in Pearl River, New York. During that time, he authored several research papers and was a member of the Association of Toxicologists. After retiring, he was employed by Tandem Research, a pharmaceutical marketing and research firm in Mahwah. He was a member of the Republican Party and was involved with Congresswoman Marge Roukema’s first campaign. He was an active member of his church community and his Lederle retirees’ group. He is survived by his wife Helena, his children Karen Moraski, Raymond Moraski, Timothy Moraski, Marianne Bascio, and his stepchildren Sean McCann, Moira Moderelli, and Bryan McCann. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and his sisters Zenobia Buden and Wanda Moraski. He was predeceased by his first wife Kathleen, (nee Bachmann).
