Page 14 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • July 17, 2013 Ridgewood Fourth of July parade features special guest This year’s Fourth of July parade and celebration in Ridgewood paid tribute to the Declaration of Idependence -- and featured a special appearance by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. The Ridgewood July 4th Celebration Committee planned this successful event. Thornton ‘Thorny’ Lockwood, a descendent of a signer of Declaration of Independence signer Josiah Bartlett, and a first cousin, eight times removed, of Benjamin Franklin, was the grand marshal.
