Page 10 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • January 23, 2013 Ridgewood Children get taste of kite flying festival World Culture Storytime in the Ridgewood Public Library’s Children’s Room featured an informational session about India’s International Kite Flying Festival, which was followed by an opportunity for participating children to build a simple kite. Over 20 children listened intently to the presentation about the Kite Flying Festival and enjoyed constructing their own personalized kite using a piece of construction paper and a balloon.
