January 9, 2013 THE VILLADOM TIMES II • Page 17 Ridgewood Tina Gagliano’s family and consumer sciences class at Ridgewood High School recently held the 2012 Chili Cook-off. Students used their own special recipes to create bowls of chili that were judged by teachers and faculty during the lunch period. Chili was judged based on criteria such as aroma, consistency, and taste. The results were: First place, Andrea Crowell, grade 11; second place, Emma Buchko-Wright, grade 9; and third place, Erin Walicki, Katherine Johnston, and Alessia LoCascio, grade 9. Spicy competition
