Children were recently invited to tour the museum, participate in story times, and bring one of their own toys for show and tell. The Schoolhouse Museum is located at 650 East Glen Avenue near the Old Paramus Reformed Church on the approach to southbound Route 17. Besides the toys and children’s dresses, the Schoolhouse Museum hosts a collection Schoolhouse Museum features toy exhibit ranging from pre-Colonial Lenape Indian and Dutch and English colonial artifacts to Victorian clothing, silverware, optics, and musical instruments, many of them donated by Ridgewood families of previous centuries.
