Wyckoff men who are age 30 and up are invited to join the slow pitch softball league. Mast to discuss native garden plants Nature and garden enthusiast Paul Mast will discuss the importance of incorporating native plants in the garden with the Wyckoff Area Garden Club on Wednesday, May 15. Golf Outing announced The Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Wyckoff will host its 17th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Haworth Country Club in Haworth on June 24. Located at 5 Lake Shore Drive in Haworth, the Haworth Country Club was designed by legendary golf designer and architect Robert Trent Jones Jr. The club was selected to host the U.S. Open Qualifying Rounds for NJ in 2002, 2006, 2009, and 2013. The event includes golf, lunch, dinner, awards, and an auction. The registration deadline is June 10. All are welcome to participate. Becker to discuss labyrinths New Jersey Holistic Health Services’ CEO Joachim Becker will present a May 2 discussion of the many mean- ingful ways to enjoy the Wyckoff Library Thinking Path. The program will be held in the library’s Shotmeyer Room at 7 p.m. The library has recently become the proud owner of a permanent medieval labyrinth on the south side of library’s grounds. Labyrinths have been used for spiritual meditation for centuries, but have also gained popularity as tools for mind/body healing and relaxation in recent years. Wyckoff to present ‘Willy Wonka’ The Wyckoff Y’s in-house theater company will stage its tenth musical production, “Willy Wonka,” the first week of May on the Carl Pfeifer Performing Arts Stage at 691 Wyckoff Avenue in Wyckoff. A cast of over 60 local actors, singers, and dancers, will perform. This production will feature Mark Quiles of Hawthorne in the role of Willy Wonka, and Jeffrey Castellano of Ramsey in the role of Charlie. Adults and children performers from Wyckoff and neighboring communities will come together to tell this classic story under the direction of Reegan McKenzie and Tim Santos, with musical direction by Georgianna Pappas. Performances will be May 2, 3, and 4 at 7 p.m. Performances will also be held May 4 at 2 p.m. and May 5 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students ages 1321 and senior citizens, $12 for children ages 12 and under. Seniors plan events, seek members The Wyckoff Seniors meet at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesdays at the Larkin House at 380 Godwin Avenue. The group has planned several events for the coming months. On May 14 the club will host a Mother’s Day celebration. The membership will celebrate the club’s 51st Anniversary with a luncheon at The Brick House, 179 Godwin Avenue in Wyckoff on May 21. The organization will host a day cruise on the Spirit of New Jersey on June 19. The Hudson River trip will include a buffet lunch.
