In 1957, he graduated magna cum laude from Iona College. In 1946, he opened Sun Lumber & Supply Co. in Mount Vernon, New York and Paramus. He retired in 1980. He was a charter member of Church of the Nativity in Midland Park and was a member of the Paramus Rotary, where he served as president and was a volunteer for the Chore organization. He is survived by his wife Nancy S. Aquadro, his children Francis J. Aquadro and Nancy S. Aquadro, three grandchildren, and his siblings Robert Aquadro, Richard Aquadro, and Gladys Stiles. Emanuel Leaf of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Paterson, died March 14. He was 75. He was a graduate of Rutgers University, and was a CPA and a founder of Leaf, Saltzman, Manganelli, Tendler and Miele, an accounting firm in New Jersey and New York. He was a member of Congregation Beth Rishon in Wyckoff. He is survived by his wife Susan, his children Larry of Glen Ridge, Brian of Northampton, Massachusetts and Julie of Williston, Vermont, four grandchildren, and his sister Sandy Levine of Naples, Florida. Arrangements were made by Eden Memorial Chapels in Fort Lee. Mary Mullins, nee Shanley, of Truckee, California, formerly of Ramsey, died March 5. She was 90. She had belonged to the Bergen County Board of Realtors for more than 30 years, and worked for Loretta McCarthy Realty, Doris Gradwell Agency, and Weichert Realtors in Ramsey. She was a member of the Ramsey Recreation Commission to help raise funds for the Ramsey Municipal Pool’s opening in 1964. She was a parishioner at Saint Paul R.C. Church in Ramsey and was involved in many fundraising projects for the parish. She is survived by her children Denis of Ramsey, Patrick of the Hudson Valley, and Marianne of Truckee, California, five granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and her sister Elinor Nielsen of Santa Ana, California. Mulry, nee O’Hagan, of Ridgewood, formerly of Saddle Brook and Bronx, New York, died March 8. She was 96. She had worked at Dow Chemical in Saddle Brook for over 10 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Mount Carmel R.C. Church in Ridgewood. She is survived by her children Patrick Mulry, Stephen Mulry, and Raymond Francis J. Aquadro Mulry, eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and her sister Mary O’Connor. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas Anthony Mulry, her son Thomas Anthony “Little Tommy” Mulry, and her brothers John, Lawrence, and Arthur O’Hagan. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was the owner and general manager of Pasquin Ford Motors in Rutherford. He was a former member of the North Jersey Country Club for more than 50 years. He is survived by his wife Ireneanne McKeon, his son James Peter, his step-children Mary Ellen Robertson, Elizabeth-Ann McKeon, Douglas McKeon, Kristine Crevani, Jean-Marie Wolfe, and Keith McKeon and John Laurendine. He was also survived by 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his sister Esther Lombardi. He was born in Jersey City and attended Saint Aloysius Academy, Our Lady of Victories Grammar School, and Saint Peter’s Prep. He received BA and MA degrees from Boston College and Union Theological Seminary. He began his professional career as a member of the Jesuit order. He taught for several years at Xavier High School in New York City. After leaving the Jesuits, he became a hospital administrator at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson, and at Memorial Sloane-Kettering in New York City. He received a Ph.D. from New York University in education. Later he received his JD degree from Fordham University. Initially an associate with Dennis J. Cummins Jr., Esq. in Fair Lawn, he went to New York as an associate at Belair, Kline & Evans, then at Quirk & Bakalor, P.C. Finally, he established the law firm of Sarno & De Felice in New York City and Sarno Law Firm in Ridgewood. He volunteered as a moot court judge at Yale College for the last four years. He was the author of eight books, among which was “Prayers for Modern, Urban, Uptight Man,” and was a writing consultant for the television program “Mod Squad.” In progress is an adult adaptation of an original “EPPILAW Taxonomy Learning to Think and Write,” designed in assisting the learning process of the English language. Eleanor Ten Kate, nee Van Hook, of Wyckoff, formerly of Midland Park, died March 9. She was 94. She is survived by her children Nelva Martin, Joyce Priestner, and Bernard Haven, and her step-daughters Doris Zeeuw and Elaine Dansen. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband John Haven, and her second husband James Ten Kate. Yurman, nee Taback, of Waldwick, formerly of Brooklyn, New York, died March 12. She was 70. Yurman, and her daughter Monica F. Pisacano and son-in-law Peter. She was predeceased by her parents Sylvia and Bill Taback and her sister Marsha Landres.
