Stone House Nursery celebrates grand opening
Stone House Nursery in Wyckoff recently celebrated its grand opening recently with an open house and ribbon cutting. New owners Brian Brisby and Jeff Schulz have returned the four-acre parcel at 765 Wyckoff Avenue to the nursery tradition started there more than 100 years ago. Since purchasing the former Rousseau property in March, the new owners have cleaned up and renovated the site, creating a community garden center committed to high-quality products at a very competitive price and outstanding customer service. “It’s a pleasure to have you here and to have this property upgraded. We’re looking forward to having you in Wyckoff,” said Mayor Rudy Boonstra after cutting the ceremonial ribbon.
“I’ve admired this property for years as I passed by it. Now actually being here and running a business the way the community deserves is very exciting,” said Schulz. The new state-of-the art nursery and garden center provides a full breadth of products and services for both the retail and wholesale customer. The nursery is stocked with the diverse and high quality flowers, trees and shrubs. Stone House also offers a wide range of hard goods, including seed, fertilizer, potting soil, stone and tools. In addition, there is a large selection of bulk products such as hardwood mulch, top soil, and stone with local delivery available to retail customers. The new nursery is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
