Tickets are still available, and WCA officials encourage area residents who have been holding off to jump in. The maximum allowable tickets that can be issued is 1,000, but “since ticket sales are nowhere near that number, for those who enter, your odds are fantastic,” said WCA Vice President Doug Cowie. For only $20 per chance, the winner will receive a $3,000 voucher to Kallman Travel in Waldwick towards a vacation of his or her choice to anywhere in the world. There are absolutely no restrictions whatsoever. The winner need not be present at Sunday’s drawing to win. Blue Moon Mexican Cafe at 327 Franklin Avenue (Boulder Run Shopping Center) in Wyckoff is adding to that effort by sponsoring a post-5K Community Night on Thursday, May 2. The restaurant will donate 20 percent of all sales from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on that day to the 5K Run effort.
