Recipe Luncheon set; sale items sought The Midland Park United Methodist Church located at 269 Godwin Avenue will host its annual Recipe Luncheon on Thursday, April 25. The event will be held at 12:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The cost for lunch is $8, and includes salads, main courses, and desserts. The dishes for the luncheon are made by the excellent cooks of the church. MPUMC is now seeking donations of items for its annual Spring Garage Sale set for June 1. Donations for the sale may be dropped off on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or left by the garage at any other time. Please note: The church cannot accept computers, computer parts, or TVs. Vacation Bible School announced Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park will sponsor “Sun West Roundup Vacation Bible School” July 8 through 12 at the church located at 95 Prospect Street. Children in pre-K through seventh grade are invited to camp, which will meet weekdays from 9 a.m. to noon. He received a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in accounting from William Paterson College. He has been in the banking industry for 30 years and is currently senior vice president/ chief financial officer at Bogota Savings Bank. He is also the secretary of the Financial Managers Society of New York and New Jersey. McCourt is an active travel and recreation team coach for soccer, basketball, and softball. He is a past president of Midland Park Softball and past vice president of Midland Park Soccer. He is a referee for soccer and basketball and an umpire for baseball and softball. An avid runner who can often be seen in town and in neighboring towns, he has participated in multiple marathons over the years.

She is an elementary school teacher and assistant principal with the Livingston School System and a clinical faculty member at Montclair State University. A 13-year resident, she is active in the elementary and high school PTAs, the Performing Arts Parents Association, and the Boosters Club, and is a founding member of the Midland Park Public Education Foundation.
