Page 6 THE VILLADOM TIMES Ramsey IV • October 24, 2012 The Ramsey community turned out in force on the frosty morning of Oct. 13 to dedicate the Emergency Operating Center and Office of Emergency Management to Michael Adams, who died this year after spending four decades as emergency management coordinator. The event also included a suprise dedication: the naming of the entry to the parking area as ‘Michael F. Adams Place.’ Mayor Chris Botta, Congressman Scott Garrett, and Adams’ brother Stephen attended the event. Sergeant Angelo Lamanna, who is an OEM deputy coordinator, organized the event and acted as emcee. At right: Stephen Adams waits as OEM Coordinator Ralph Venturini prepares to unveil the stret sign.
