Rich Petriccione, Ph.D., senior vice president of philanthropy and community relations of the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee, will be the guest speaker at the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Nov. 9 networking luncheon. The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the River Palm Terrace, 209 Ramapo Valley Road in Mahwah. The NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Company, a Section 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation, runs the Super Bowl Host Committee. The committee is working to ensure Super Bowl XLVIII, which will be held Feb. 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, will be a success. The group is helping coordinate many of the events that lead up to, and surround, the game, and is seeking volunteers who can help

provide visitors with information about the Super Bowl and related activities and act as hospitality guides at events. In addition, Petriccione will discuss the ways the Super Bowl can benefit local businesses. Chamber members and non-members alike are encouraged to attend this event and enjoy lunch and networking opportunities. All members are encouraged to share their promotional items and literature with guests on the Chamber’s media table. Participants should remember to bring plenty of business cards. The cost of the luncheon is $40 for Chamber members and $55 for non-members. Advance registration is preferred; an additional $5 processing fee will be charged if paid the day of event.
