The Ladies of Laughter Funny & Fabulous tour will make a stop at the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts at Ramapo College on Friday, Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. The show will feature three of the funniest women in stand-up comedy today, including the 2012 Ladies of Laughter National Contest winners, Robin Fox and Regina DeCicco. the heralded national contest in search of the funniest comediennes in the country. Fox calls herself a “real NJ housewife” and hails from Bridgewater. She wowed the crowd and judges from Comedy Central this past summer with her slant on being a mom and “housewife” with an early-retired husband who closely monitors her and the thermostat daily. DeCicco is from the Lower Hudson Valley, and her family owns the famed DeCicco markets. She was voted “Lower Hudson Valley’s Funniest Person” in 2011 and has quickly made a name for herself with stories about her life, and her distinctive voice. (Imagine if Harvey Fierstein and Brenda Vaccarro had a baby.) Hosting the show is the incomparable Lord, who is a regular at top comedy clubs, theaters, and casinos all over the United States, and frequently travels overseas to perform for American troops. She is considered one of the smartest women in comedy today. On Oct. 15 at 5:24 p.m., Patrolman Tim Shoemaker was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash in the parking lot of a Route 17 North business. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 40-year-old Suffern, New York woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated. At 3:16 p.m. on Oct. 16, Detective Brian Huth conducted an investigation of two suspicious males in the parking lot of a Route 17 North business. At the conclusion of the investigation, an Allendale man, 20, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police also arrested a Mahwah man, 20, for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a false government identification. Patrolman Matt Rork was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business at 8:11 p.m. on Oct. 17 for a male in custody for shoplifting. At the conclusion of the investigation, a Mahwah man, 52, was arrested for shoplifting. On Oct. 18 at 3:19 p.m., Police Officer Mike Parise conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 17 South on a tailgating

vehicle. At the conclusion of the stop, a 29-year-old female passenger from Passaic was arrested for a traffic warrant. On Oct. 24 at 3:16 p.m., Police Officer Adam Macaluso was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Shadyside Road. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 25-year-old Ramsey man was arrested for DWI. He was also charged with leaving the scene of a crash. At 11:45 p.m. the same day, Patrolman Craig Weber was dispatched to DeSimone Court for a noise complaint. At the conclusion of the investigation, a Ramsey man, 37, was arrested for providing false information to a police officer and for multiple warrants for his arrest. On Oct. 28 at 3:30 a.m., Patrolman Casey Hines responded to a motor vehicle crash with multiple injuries on Route 17 South. At the conclusion of the investigation a 37-year-old Annapolis, Maryland man was arrested for assault by auto. At 10:38 p.m. on Nov. 3, Police Officer Jaclyn Sabatelli was dispatched to a Route 17 North business for a man being disruptive. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 31-year-old Fair Lawn man was arrested for disorderly conduct.
