Whitney Dever, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin J. Dever Jr. of Franklin Lakes, married Austin Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Davis of McLean, Virginia, on May 12. The ceremony took place during a nuptial Mass in the chapel at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. A reception was held at Farmington Country Club. The bride’s sister, Victoria Dever, served as maid of honor. Marshall Davis and Taylor Davis, brothers of the groom, were the best men. Christopher Dever, brother of the bride, was one of the groomsmen. The bride is a 2001 graduate of Ramapo High School in Franklin Lakes. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 2005. Currently, she is a pharmaceutical representative with Daiichi Sankyo in Arlington, Virginia. The groom, a 2001 graduate of Langley High School in McLean, Virginia, also received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in 2005. He is the director of production for Equifax in Tysons

Barbara and Everett Malestein celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 27, 2012. The longtime Ramsey residents were joined with their three children, seven g randchild ren, and close family and friends as they marked their golden anniversary.

Tamara Michelle Chin-Lyn, daughter of Astor and Janet Chin-Lyn of Mahwah, married David Charles McHenry, son of Charles and Ellen McHenry of Westampton, on June 30 at the Old First Reformed United Church of Christ in historic Philadelphia. Guests helped celebrate afterward with a live band at a formal peacock-themed reception and dinner at the Cescaphė Ballroom in Philadelphia. The bride, wearing a Sophia Tolli gown, Ivon, in diamond white and black, and had eight bridesmaids, two junior bridesmaids, and a flower girl in attendance. The bride is a graduate of Mahwah High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from Rutgers University. She is a corporate engineer for the Jones Apparel Group. The groom holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Rutgers University and is currently a senior programmer analyst for Hewitt Associates. The couple resides in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.
