The ESL program matches each student with a volunteer tutor and the two work one-on-one once a week for one hour. A vital asset to the Ramsey community, the tutoring program fosters understanding and appreciation of other cultures and new friendships. Several get-togethers are held at the Ramsey Library for tutors throughout the year. An International Dinner held in Westwood is held at the end of the year, where tutors meet their counterparts from all over Bergen County and taste cuisine prepared by students from all over the world.
