Officer Marc Shingelo was dispatched to an Interstate Shopping Center business for a shoplifter in custody on March 16. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 19-yearold Franklin Lakes resident was arrested. On March 22, Officer Tom Banta was dispatched to a Ramsey Square Shopping Center business for a shoplifter in custody. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 38year-old Monroe, New York woman was arrested for shoplifting. The same day, a 34-year-old Mahwah resident reported to police headquarters to satisfy a traffic warrant. Officer Erik Sanders processed the arrest. On March 24, Sergeant Kevin Cherven observed a vehicle traveling on Route 17 North without headlights on. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected from the driver. At the conclusion of field sobriety tests, a West Milford man, 52, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Police Department Report Officer Jeff Guilfoyle conducted a motor vehicle stop on Lake Street on March 25. The officer observed a motorist making an illegal turn. The stop led to the arrest of two Brooklyn men, ages 46 and 24, for possession of stolen property. The arrest led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle located in Jersey City. On April 6, a 25-year-old Ramsey man reported to Ramsey Police Headquarters to satisfy a warrant. Officer Guilfoyle processed the arrest. On April 7, Officer Jaclyn Morris conducted an investigation after receiving a theft report from a Route 17 South business. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 20year-old Westwood woman and a 26-yearold River Vale man were arrested for theft. Officer Casey Hines was dispatched to a Ramsey Square Shopping Center business on April 11. The call was for a shoplifter in custody. A Warwick, New York woman, 25, was arrested for shoplifting.
