The school board accepted four sealed bids for custodial and management services on Jan. 24, and a committee was established to evaluate the proposals and rank them in accordance with the weighting criteria that was explained in the board’s request for bids. The committee then issued its report and presented a recommendation on the continued outsourcing of all custodial services, except for the three day custodians, for consideration by the board. The school district privatized its custodial staff in July 2008. Temco was awarded the original contract and has provided custodial services to the school district since that time.
