Sabath ’93. “Ramapo William Dator appointed to Ramapo College Board College has undergone nothing less than a transformation in recent years and we are well on our way to becoming the premier public liberal arts institution in the region. I am certain that Bill’s contributions and vision will help us achieve our goals on behalf of our students and the people of New Jersey.” Dator played an important role in helping plan the location of the college when he suggested the Stephen Birch estate as a potential site. Dator and his wife, Linda, are supporters of the Ramapo College Foundation, the Golf Outing, the Distinguished Citizens Dinner, and the Havemeyer Edible Garden. “Bill Dator and his wife, Linda, have had a long standing relationship with Ramapo College,” said Ramapo College President Peter P. We are pleased to have Bill formally join the college now as a member of the board of trustees. As a life-long resident of Mahwah and a successful businessman, I have no doubt that Bill’s expertise in capital development and community building will serve the college well.” Dator serves as chairman of the Northwest Bergen Utilities Authority, vice chairman of the Mahwah Board of Adjustment, and is an active member of the Mahwah Office of Emergency Management.
