He was an attorney for Morrison and Morrison Esq., James Toscano Esq., before opening his own practice, Norman S. Costanza, in Hackensack. He was later affiliated with Sellinger & Sellinger in Clifton. He was a member of the Bergen County Bar Association and a member of Hanah Mountain Resort & Country Club in Margaretville, New York. He is survived by his wife Teresa N. (nee Racioppi), his son Michael Lazzara Sr. of Bridgeport, Connecticut, two grandchildren, one greatgranddaughter, and his sister Connie Harris. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Paramus. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. George P. Kostecky of Mahwah died Feb. 26. He was 82. Before retiring, he worked for North American Philips Corporation as a crystal grower. He served as a trustee at Holy Spirit Byzantine Catholic Church in Mahwah. He is survived by his wife Betty, his nephews James of Ramsey, John of Troutville, Virginia, and Joey Lencsak of Mahwah, and his nieces Rita Christian of Roanoke, Virginia and Arline Lencsak of Mahwah. Bruce Arthur Mac Millan of Haledon, formerly of Wyckoff and Fair Lawn, died Feb. 27. He was 70. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran. He owned and operated the Wyckoff Heating and Cooling Supply in Pompton Lakes. He was a member of the Ramapo Valley Baptist Church in Oakland where he served as a trustee of the church. He is survived by his wife Joan (nee Hackler), his children, Mark MacMillan of Antioch, Illinois, and Barbara Paynter of Lititz, Pennsylvania, and four grandchildren. Anna McGhee, nee Wimer, of Ramsey died Feb. 21. She was 33. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Villanova, she earned her master’s at Fairleigh Dickinson. She taught science for grades two through eight at Haworth Elementary School in Haworth. She had been a coxswain for Mount Lebanon High School. Her crew career continued in Philadelphia at Lower Merion High School, the Florida Institute of Technology, and Villanova University. While attending Florida Tech, she won gold at the Dad Vail Regatta as coxswain of the Men’s Heavyweight 8. She was very proud of her second grade PullUp Championship. She is survived by her husband Hugh Norman S. Costanza McGhee, her children Keely, Quinton, Ella, and Grace, her mother Carole Flaherty, her father Gary Wimer, her brothers Bart and Max, and her in-laws Joan and Frank McGhee. Janette Perel, nee Kaufman, of Mahwah died Feb. 26. She was 85. Arrangements were made by Eden Memorial Chapels in Fort Lee. Garret Rozema of North Haledon, formerly of Wyckoff, died Feb. 24. He was 87. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. He was a parts manager for several automobile dealerships, including McCrane Motors, Kevil Dodge, and Fairway Dodge. He was an independent milkman serving the Bergen County area and held an interest in Hawthorne Bowling Lanes. He was a member of the Cedar Hill Christian Reformed Church in Wyckoff, where he served as a deacon and elder. He was a member of the Gloria Concert Band, the Eighth Air Force, the 447th Bomb Group and VFW Post 7086 of Wyckoff and Midland Park. He is survived by his wife Jeannette (nee Baker), his children Shirley and Clarence DeBoer of Paw Paw, Michigan, Linda Ten Kate of Midland Park, and Gary and Joan Rozema of Midland Park, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Alice L. Rudlinger of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Secaucus and Hawthorne, died Feb. 23. She was 94. In 1949, she and her husband Edward founded Rudox Engine and Equipment Company in Secaucus. The company is now in its third generation of family ownership. She was a member of the Saint Matthew’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid Society in Secaucus where she served as an officer for many years. She served as a committee member for Secaucus’ 75th Anniversary, and was active with many civic organizations. She was a contributor to the Secaucus Home News. She was recognized in 1975 as a Woman of Achievement by the Jersey Journal Newspaper and recognized by former first lady Betty Ford. She was awarded a Life Member designation from the Secaucus Huber Street PTA, which she served as president and in other capacities. She was a supporter of the Secaucus Public Library, and its Alice Rudlinger Reading Room was named in her honor. She was a member of the Woman’s Club of Wyckoff. She is survived by her daughters Jane Goodman of Franklin Lakes and Barbara Sesty of Secaucus, four grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and her sister-in-law Beatrice. She is survived by her children Suzanne Kraker, Richard Schlosser Jr., Nancy Rayder, and Amy Schlosser, three grandchildren, and her sisters Annette Weston, Corinne Cochran, and Roberta Luxon. Vanek of Mission Viejo, California, and Richard J. Vanek of Brooklyn, New York, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Anne C. Vanek. The candidate said he enjoys problem solving, and believes his business expertise will transfer effectively to the school board. Snyder, a 32-year resident of Ramsey, has been a trustee for 18 years and has served on every major board committee. He is a graduate of Northeastern University and his two children are graduates of the Ramsey school system. Snyder has been an active member of the Bergen County School Boards Association Executive Committee, the New Jersey School Boards Association Board of Directors, the School Finance Discussion Group at Rutgers, Our Children/Our Schools, and Dackks Group, a supportive housing program.
