Robert “Bob” C. Mooradian of Ramsey, formerly of Hasbrouck Heights and WoodRidge, died July 9. He was 80. Before retiring, he was a photo-engraver for 43 years. He began his career in Atlantic Engraving in New York City. He was a member of the Monday Club of Hasbrouck Heights. He is survived by his wife Karen (Waite), and his daughter Donna Duerr, his son-in-law Ralph Duerr, and granddaughter Alyssa Duerr. He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Mae Mooradian. She was an assistant vice president at Anchor Savings Bank prior to her retirement 20 years ago. She is survived by her children Willam Schwaner, Suzanne Cortese, Christopher Schwaner, and Matthew Schwaner, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Will Purkert. Before retiring, she was an organizational analyst at Lederle Laboratories (a division of American Cyanamid), where she was employed for 41 years. She was a graduate of Ramsey High School and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was a member and past president of the Columbiettes of Suffern, New York, an active member of the Garden State Council of the League of Ukrainian Catholics, a lay associate of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate in Sloatsburg, New York, and a member of the Rosary Society of the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Mahwah. She is survived by her siblings Michael Tymoch of Airmont, New York and Anne Tymoch Telencio of Hamilton, Elsa Marie Schwaner Barbara Azarian-McCullough Ph.D., nee Avedisian, of Wyckoff, formerly of Saddle Brook, died July 9. She was 74. She was in the practice of public accounting since 1959. She and her late husband John Sr. started the accounting firm Azarian & Co. in Paterson in 1959. The practice moved to Hawthorne in 1972. In 1972, she founded Azarian Management Company (renamed The Azarian Group, LLC). She has served on the board of trustees of the Greater Alliance Federal Credit Union (formerly Central Bergen Federal Credit Union) since 1985 and served on the board of trustees of Saint Thomas Aquinas College since 1990. In 2000, she was received an honorary doctorate degree from Saint Thomas Aquinas College. In 2010, she was honored with the title of board of trustee member emeritus from the college and from the credit union. She was a member of Saint Leon’s Armenian Church in Fair Lawn. She is survived by her son John M. Azarian Jr., her daughter-in-law Donna, four grandchildren, and her sister Dr. Joyce Riedinger of Bedminster. She was predeceased by her first husband John M. He is survived by his wife Sarah Lenihan, his sons Tyler and Alexander, his sisters Doreen Smith of Clifton and Colleen Taylor of Waldwick, and his sister-in-law Tricia Ryan of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Campion said the township currently has $2.2 million in development fee funds that continue to age, but $1,250,000 would be subject to forfeiture to the state this month if the township could not show that a commitment has been made to spend the money on affordable housing. He said the township plans to add $125,000 to the amount that would become eligible for seizure by the state to prepare the site for the senior housing building. Campion explained that the United Way will obtain additional funding from other sources and state and county grants, and there would be additional monies available to spend on the project from the developers’ fees that have been put into the affordable housing trust fund since 2008.
