The Ramsey Seniors will host a bus trip to New York City to see the Tony Awardwinning musical, “War Horse,” on April 18. The compelling epic tells the tale of a boy’s beloved horse that has been sold to the cavalry during the outbreak of World War I. Caught up in enemy fire, the horse serves on both sides of the war and survives an odyssey that leaves him alone. As a young man, the protagonist embarks on a treacherous mission to find his horse and bring him home to England. This play, one of the

most magical productions ever staged at the Beaumont Theatre, contains breathing, galloping, charging “horses” made of steel, leather, and aircraft cables. Sign up will begin March 6 at 10 a.m. at the borough hall. The cost is $100 and includes lunch at Carmine’s on the Upper West Side, admission to the show, and transportation. Checks may be made payable to Borough of Ramsey. This program is open to Ramsey seniors only. The restaurant and theater are wheelchair accessible.
