Cross-country runner Nicholas A. Carapezza of Mahwah accepted a scholarship to attend Fairfield University. Carapezza Eight declare commitments on National Signing Day is a member of the National Honor Society, the Italian Honor Society, and Students Against Drunk Driving. Seven Don Bosco students made commitments to play football. Elijah Y. Shumate, a running back/ defensive back for the Don Bosco Prep Seated: Nicholas Carapezza. Standing: Athletic Director Brian McAleer, Head Coach Kevin Kilduff, and Sandy Carapezza. Ironmen, has committed to attend the University of Notre Dame. He is a resident of East Orange. Leonte Q. Carroo, a wide receiver for the Ironmen, has accepted a scholarship to attend Rutgers University. In addition to football, Carroo has been a school ambassador, and is an active member of the track and basketball teams. He is a resident of Ramsey. Darius L. Hamilton, a defensive end for the football Ironmen, has also committed to attend Rutgers. Hamilton is a resident of Woodland Park. Michael S. Strizak, a linebacker for the Ironmen, has accepted a scholarship to attend Boston College. He is a resident of Fair Lawn. Michael A. Casimos, an offensive lineman/defensive lineman, has committed to attend the University of Akron. He is a (continued on page 15)
