Ramsey
There’s no place like home
The Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department hosted its annual Home for the Holidays event on Dec. 8. Once again, Main Street was closed to vehicular traffic, turning the bustling thoroughfare into a quaint walking mall. A highlight of the evening was the Parade of Lights, which stepped off from Dater School and continued down Main Street. Several performances took place on Island Avenue, and the Ramsey Wind Symphony presented holiday music at the high school. Santa made a special visit to Ramsey during the event.
