April 18, 2012 THE VILLADOM TIMES IV • Page 7 Ramsey Tough guys wear pink In a fundraising effort to support the upcoming Relay for Life in Ramsey, Tisdale School students wore pink and donated $1 toward the cause. The Ramsey Police Department is seeking applicants for the opening created when Lieutenant Robert Hennessey retired after 25 years on the force. Ramsey Police Chief Bryan Gurney reported that prospective applicants are welcome to pick up the required paperwork at the Ramsey Police Department located at 25 North Central Avenue. The pre-application will have all of the directions attached, and applicants should not call the department regarding the hiring process. Eligible applicants should hold a degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or have at least two years of active military service with an honorable discharge together with either a two-year college degree from an accredited college or university or the accumulation of at least 60 credits from an accredited college or university; or at least four years of active military service with an honorable discharge provided that said appointment shall be contingent pending within five years of said appointment receipt of either a two-year college degree from an accredited college or university or the accumulation of at least 60 credits from an accredited college or university.
