Bisanti and daughter-in-law Annie Bisanti of Beverly Hills, Florida, and her sister Marion Alcaro of Ramsey. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Bisanti. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Harold H. “‘Buddy” Leather of Mahwah died April 5. He was 76. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Before retiring, he was a warehouse supervisor for Troll, Inc. in Mahwah. Later he bred and raced greyhounds at tracks across the United States. He was a 37-year member of the American Legion Post 170 in Rochelle Park and a member of the National Greyhound Association. He is survived by his wife Irene (nee O’Connell), his children Jocelyn Anderson of Beech Island, South Carolina and Harold “Buzzy” Leather of Kalispell, Montana, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Ruth Leather. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Paramus. John C. Lenihan of Ridgewood, formerly of Queens, New York, died April 11. He was 72. He worked for the New York City Department of Sanitation for 33 years after working for the Daily News. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Ridgewood where he served as an usher. He was a former parishioner of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in Queens, New York. He is survived by his children Linda Casella and John Lenihan, and seven grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Carol. Arrangements were made by Feeney Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Hans H. Maunz of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Fair Lawn, died April 5. He was 87. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII. He was a 1943 graduate of Eastside High School in Paterson. He received his degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and worked as a mechanical engineer with Ford Motor Company for most of his career. He then worked for ITT before retiring. He served on the Franklin Lakes Board of Health. He was a member of the Franklin Lakes Lions Club, and a former president of the Franklin Lakes Republican Club, where he served as the District 40 Bergen County Republican Committee Chairman. He was a member of Fair Lawn American Legion Post 17, the Franklin Lakes Seniors, and Activities Unlimited. He is survived by his daughter Eileen Roth of Los Angeles, California, his granddaughter Kristan Saad of Old Greenwich, Connecticut, his grandson Christopher Roth of Los Angeles, California, two great-grandsons, and his sister- Marie Bisanti in-law Marilyn Sostman of Daytona Beach, Florida. Box 302, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417. Grace H. Rankin, nee Morrell, of Glen Rock died April 4. She was 101. She was a parishioner of Saint Catharine R.C. Church in Glen Rock. She was a member of the Association of Mature Parishioners, a volunteer at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, and a member of the Glen Rock Seniors. She is survived by her children William, James, Thomas, and Donald Rankin, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William T. Rankin. She began her career as a bookkeeper for Bendix Aviation in Teterboro before becoming an owner/operator of Terry’s Restaurant in Ridgewood. She also worked as a bookkeeper/administrator for Houlihan’s in Hackensack, a bookkeeper for Vinyl Building Products in Oakland, and as a cafeteria worker at Northern Highlands High School in Allendale. She was a parishioner of Saint Luke’s R.C. Church in Ho-Ho-Kus. She is survived by her children Ronald Teresinski of Clifton and Cynthia Addesso of Hawthorne, two grandchildren, her sister Rose Monachello of Ridgewood, and three nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Teresinski, and her sisters Carmen Briganti, Phyllis Monachello, and Josephine Davis. Arrangements were made by Browning-Forshay Funeral Home in Hawthorne. Paul Traina III of Ramsey died April 8. He was 23. He was a graduate of Saint Paul School in Ramsey and Ramsey High School. He was an undergraduate at The College of New Jersey where he was studying sociology and psychology. He is survived by his parents Paul and Teri Traina of Ramsey; his siblings Susan, Frank, and Jack; his grandparents Betty Carini of Ramsey and Paul and Pauline Traina of Totowa; his aunts and uncles Debra and Thomas Christiansen of New City, New York, John and Gina Carini of Mahwah, Michael and Elizabeth Traina of Sparta, and Thomas and Dawn Traina of Mullica Hill; and many cousins. Walker, both of Wayne; his step-children Wayne and Jill Barker of Sloatsburg, New York, and Lynne Barker of Vail, Colorado; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Strike Out Hunger on Opening Day Saint John’s Memorial Episcopal Church, located on the corner of Franklin Turnpike and Main Street in Ramsey, and the Ramsey Baseball/Softball Association have joined forces to Strike Out Hunger on Saturday, April 21, opening day for the RBSA. League participants are encouraged to bring donations of nonperishable food items. Food collection sites will be located in the Main Street train station (at the start of the parade), and by the Finch Park and McFarren snack stands from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. All items collected will be donated to the Center for Food Action in Mahwah. Recommended donations include pasta, pasta sauce, boxed macaroni and cheese, soups, baked beans, canned fruit, boxed potatoes, pancake mix, syrup, coffee, jelly, 100 percent fruit juice (bottles or boxes), cereal, and healthy individual snack items for lunchboxes, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
