William Clair Beisswanger of Houston, Texas, formerly of Upper Saddle River, died Oct. 21. He was 68. He attended undergraduate studies at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, where he played on the basketball team and later served on the board of trustees. He attended graduate studies at Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He joined Ernst & Young accounting firm and retired as a senior partner. He later held positions at a number of firms, including Ethan Allen and AXA Advisors, and taught at the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. He was active in recreational athletics, coaching soccer, basketball, and baseball teams for his children. He served on the board of education at Northern Highlands Regional High School in Allendale. He is survived by his wife Robin of Houston, Texas, his children Bill of Charlottesville, Virginia, Greg of New Milford, and Debbie of Cincinnati, Ohio, two grandsons, and his brother Donald of Whitehouse Station. He was predeceased by his first wife Joyce, his parents Russell and Helen, and his brother Russell. Arrangements were made by Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home in Ramsey. Memorial donations may be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. Tully Jack Dickerson of Ho-Ho-Kus died Oct. 21. He was 82. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was an electrical engineer with Unysis Corporation in New York before his retirement. He was president of the HoHo-Kus Seniors, and a member of the Glen Rock Activities Group and the Ridgewood Hobbyists. He was a member of the West Side Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood. He is survived by his children Kathryn Dickerson Shigeta and Martha Godart, both of Ridgewood, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Louise, and his brother Dr. William Dickerson. Arrangements were made by C.C. Van Emburgh Funeral Home in Ridgewood. Jane M. Donlan, nee Chapman, of Waldwick, formerly of Wyckoff, died Oct. 22. She was 61. She was most recently employed by the Mahwah Board of Education teaching pre-K special education. Previously, she worked at several Jersey City schools, with the Bergen County Special Services, and with many one-on-one special needs children. She is survived by her children Kelly and Kevin, her father James J. Chapman, her sisters Kathy Schal, Merri Duchak, Trish Benevento, and Grace Ann Cupo. Fairweather of New Market, Maryland, and Donald J. Fairweather of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Catherine Fairweather. Marjorie “Midge” Goldman, nee Grostky, of Upper Saddle River and Boynton Beach, Florida, died Oct. 24. She was 83. She attended Bergen Junior College, and afterward worked at CBS Radio and Television. She completed her undergraduate education at Farleigh Dickinson University in 1971, and received her master’s degree in education while working as a learning disabilities teacher in the Hackensack schools, where she taught for 22 years. She is survived by her daughter and son, Carol Berg of Atlanta, Georgia, and Peter Goldman of New York, New York, and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Eugene Goldman. Arrangements were made by Gutterman and Musicant’s in Hackensack. Paul E. Haffey of Upper Saddle River died Oct. 22. He was 92. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a graduate of Ohio State University. Before retiring, he was president of McHutchison & Co. of New Jersey. He was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Ridgewood. He is survived by his wife AlphaJo (nee Gesell) Haffey of Upper Saddle River, his siblings Miriam Ernsberger and Eugene Haffey, both of Ohio, and a niece and nephew. Arrangements were made by C.C. Harrison of Ho-Ho-Kus died Oct. 22. He was 99. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, Dartmouth College, and Columbia Law School. He practiced law for over 50 years in Ridgewood. He was a director emeritus of Citizens First National Bank in Ridgewood, served on the board of trustees of The American Lung Association, was the attorney for the board of trustees of Valley Hospital. He was a member emeritus of the Ridgewood Country Club and the Ridgewood Rotary Club. He is survived by his wife Louise (Verrey) of Ho-Ho-Kus, his children Julian Harrison, Arden Hansen, and Lee Harrison, seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Ross R. Mamola of Ho-Ho-Kus, formerly of Garfield, died Oct. 22. He was 82. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He had his own architecture practice in Ho-Ho-Kus for many years. He was a past president of the Ridgewood Rotary Club and of the Architects League of Northern New Jersey. He was a member of the American Institute of Architects, the New Jersey Society of Architects, and the VFW in Ho-Ho-Kus. He was a parishioner of Saint Luke’s R.C. Church in Ho-Ho-Kus. He is survived by his wife Gladys (nee: Urgovitch), his son Richard R. Mamola, his siblings Joan Vagell and George Mammola, and many nieces and nephews. Philip Scaglione of Midland Park died Oct. 23. He was 94. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Before retiring in 1989, he was the owner and operator of Allendale Sales and Service in Allendale. After retiring he was a crossing guard for the Midland Park Police Department for 10 years. He was a member of the VFW Post 7086 in Midland Park. He was a parishioner of Church of the Nativity in Midland Park for 64 years. He is survived by his children Rhonda Salge and Philip A. Scaglione both of Midland Park, three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth. Arrangements were made by Vander Plaat Funeral Home in Wyckoff. She was 87. She had a long and successful career with Frontier Communications, and was active in her community and church. Priscilla Wintrode of Forty Fort, Pennsylvania, formerly of Upper Saddle River, died Oct. 21. She was 74. She is survived by her children Robin Carlock, Tracy Rafalski, Dawn English, Wendy Church, Billie Wintrode, and Kyle Wintrode, and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Audrey Connelly, Jack and George Wright, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Nelson and Mary Estella McGraph Wright.
