Waldwick’s school board election will take place at the same time as the general election on Nov. 6 as per the board of education’s decision earlier this year to shift the voting from April. The change also eliminated the public vote on the 2013-14 school budget, which now will be finalized by the school board as long as it does not exceed the 2 per-

The public still elects the members of the school board, and this year two incumbent trustees are running unopposed for three-year terms, and their names will appear on the ballot along with candidates running for political office. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.
