A resident since 1989, Levine has been the custom products specialist/design consultant for Calico Corners in Ramsey for the last seven years. She and her husband David have two daughters, Elizabeth, a freshman at Clemson University in South Carolina; and Meredith, a senior at Waldwick High School. Orlak said that he hopes to continue the progress that the board as a team has made over the past few years, particularly in the areas of construction, curriculum, policy, and program. “I am proud to be part of a group of individuals that keep striving for excellence in our schools. But we cannot simply rest on our achievements. With the administration, we will continually monitor our programs to ensure the students of Waldwick receive the quality education they deserve. There will be challenges along the way funding issues, conflicting state mandates, program shifts - but with our commitment to excellence, we can and will meet these challenges head on and overcome anything that could stand in the way of our children and their bright futures,” Orlak commented. A 39-year resident and graduate of Waldwick schools, Orlak holds an M.Ed degree in Educational Leadership and has chaired the Curriculum Committee/ Technology Committee during his six years on the board. He is the Supervisor of Instruction for Social Studies, Business, Health, and Physical Education for the Pascack Valley Regional High School District. He and his wife, Dayna, have one child.
