Board to enforce policies on use of school property
Waldwick school officials will be sending a letter to all town and school organizations making them aware of school policies on the use of playing fields owned by the school board. The letter will also address the display of signs anywhere on school property, including fences. The decision was prompted by a policy committee report by trustee Martha Walsh, who told the board last week that most concerns on the use and abuse of the fields expressed at recent board meeting are addressed in current board policy. He said others apply for permission but start using the fields before they receive it, which can lead to scheduling (continued on page 4)
